Transportation in Hobart is very efficient – there are many options for getting around. Taxis and rental cars are readily available and the Metro bus system is great for getting around the city areas.

Walking around the downtown areas of Hobart is safe and fun. Battery Point, Sullivans Cove, North Hobart, Salamanca, and Sandy Bay are full of fun places to visit out on foot. Hobart and surrounding areas has a vast network of walking and bike paths.

A student card is issued to full-time students on their first day of study. The card allows discounts on the Metropolitan bus service. The main bus stop is located 10 minutes walk from SACE Hobart.
